I never made it through the entire Art Institute, even after visiting for hours on end on a number of occasions. It was all just too much! And my reaction was always the same as yours about being so close to all those masterpieces.

The rain finally stopped by the time I headed out. And there was no snow. No heavy wind. So things turned out well.

I believe so. It was in the lower level of the museum.

Listening to mp3’s in your pajamas is hard to beat. Especially, since tonight I’m going out to a show with these weather conditions: Windy. Rain…mixing with snow overnight. Winds N at 25 to 35 mph.
