Of course, if you were to jump from one side to the other you would find yourself landing in an overgrowth of thickets. Ouch.

My family used to go to a lake there, White Earth Lake, which is about 40 min from the mouth of the Mississippi every year for like 17 years. Northern Minnesota is gorgeous. Have fun!
