It’s that time again for WEVL 89.9FM, our favorite radio station anywhere, to have their annual Fall Pledge Drive. Their goal is $62,000, which they must make by Saturday, November 11th. I know that there are several of you out there that read this blog that enjoy what this unique station offers, so please do your part and keep volunteer radio alive!
And if you want another reason to make a pledge, it could be an anniversary gift for me and Apryl. Because it was two years ago this Tuesday, that me and Apryl first met each other volunteering at the station, answering calls on the pledge line. So we owe our marriage to the Fall Pledge Drive (and Judy, of course)!
If you are unfamilar with the station, you can listen online. The pledge drives are always a fun time to listen to the station because of all the special themed programs. Here is a schedule for this weekend:

4-6 pm – Tom plays upbeat New Orleans songs about peace and happiness
6-7 pm – Part 1 of Ben Vaughn’s show featuring original versions of well known songs
