OK, so it wasn’t this dramatic, but an earthquake did hit Illinois early this morning around 4:30am with a magnitude of 5.4. Over 300 miles away from Chicago, the effects were still reportedly said to have shaken Chicago’s downtown buildings. There are no reports or injury of damage. Funny, I didn’t feel it all and only learned about it after reading this article on the Commercial Appeal online.
Edit: Apryl (who had fallen asleep on the couch) and Eva both experienced the quake this morning. I’ll let them share their own stories if they feel like it.

It did not register on my Richter scale in Collierville, TN. Both of my rubber balls are still on the very edge if my TV stand-Love Dad

Let’s hope those rubber balls never fall!

We had an earthquake in London a couple of months ago that some people I worked with felt, but Liam and I did not feel….we blamed it on the fact that whenever a big bus or truck drives by our house, the windows vibrate and rattle…so…we are used to that sort of thing.

Yeah, I felt cheated that I slept right through it!
