Aw! Thank you, everyone. I hardly know what to say. I appreciate all of you getting together to share your birthday wishes with me. I appreciate Brett more for wrangling people, shooting, editing, and uploading the video. I hope the process was infinitely less painful than a UCA/UDA shoot and edit. And thanks even more to Hayden for being so creative, loving, and sweet and for arranging this whole thing from another state, especially since he’s not used to planning. But maybe the most thanks should go to my mom for carrying and birthing me and to both my parents and sisters for putting up with me. Thanks to the rest of you again for everything that you’ve done to make the first 30 years of my life much happier than they ever could have been without you. I feel so loved, and I love everyone single one of you (including those of you who couldn’t make it)!
If I had been in town, I too would have commented on the fact that you are older than me. I like that fact because I get a firsthand account of what to expect by someone that has experienced about 6 months of “it”. It being…oldness. MWA! Happy birthday!
And Caroline, fortunately, I inherited my mother’s nonchalance about age. I’m 30. So what? You either age or you die. Besides, I like to think that the 5 months I have on you and Summer simply make me more worldly and wiser.
